I have known Balthazar Arc practically all my life. He is an unusual, like the characters of his stories.
I have never known any other adult who has a brain like children’s. He just refuses to grow up (even with that moustache). Maybe that is why he can be creative or get along so well with animals (he prefers them to most people). This makes talking to him a lot of fun. You hear unexpected things that you never imagined.

I am sure you will enjoy reading his writings, which I guess would be the next best thing to talking.

I think if he had a chance, he would have preferred to live like a caveman. He does a good job of it even now. Balthazar spends his life with his cat, dog and small family in the Canadian countryside, away from noise and crowd. When he is not busy doing the necessary things to live the caveman life, he spends his time writing, drawing and playing music on weird instruments he makes himself.

Anybody who hopes for a better world will enjoy reading his books because in a modest and very down to earth manner he can invent a parallel universe much more interesting than the real one, and we all wish we could escape to it.

You may be surprise to know many of the characters in his stories are real. For example, there actually is a Hon, and she is every bit as interesting as the puppy in the story. I wouldn't be surprised if Balthazar could actually talk to her, and maybe that's how the story came to be written.
